Life at Kirkhaven Nothing reflects your individuality more than your leisure time pursuits, so at Kirkhaven, we strive to provide our residents with a wide variety of activities and resources to fill their social, spiritual and intellectual needs.

Our 24-hour visiting policy (even pets may visit!) and the family lounges and various conversation alcoves built into our facility, encourage natural socialization. Kitchenettes on every floor provide the opportunity for afternoon tea, favorite recipes and midnight snacks. The Therapeutic Recreation Department, which maintains a full calendar of music, movies, gardening, creative arts, etc., encourages families and friends to participate. All "in-house" activities are in the 3rd Floor Assembly Room unless otherwise noted. Additional programs are always being added, so check the bulletin board in the lobby when you visit. You may also call ahead to confirm a specific program.
