A team approach to individualized care
We are blessed with an exceptional staff of well trained, dedicated individuals, and with our low resident-to-staff ratio, we give residents our prompt and complete attention.

Nursing care is provided twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, and geriatric specialists are onsite five days a week and on call during the night and weekends. Whenever possible, residents are cared for by the same nurse and certified nursing assistant. This promotes a closer relationship, provides stability and familiarity, and allows us to really get to know personal preferences and needs.

All necessary medical services are available, including: prescription drugs, dental care, podiatry services, psychiatric consultations, vision care maintenance, ear-nose-throat care, and lab and x-ray services.

Medical equipment and supplies are also provided as prescribed by the primary physician.

A real home, a true community We continuously strive to provide a more homelike environment. Ongoing renovations have created large communal areas and intimate "living room" spaces. Traditional nursing stations have been eliminated so the atmosphere is less clinical, and the walls are covered with beautiful and varied artwork.

We advocate natural, ongoing contacts between family and friends, so visitors are always welcome day or night. Some floors have adopted a pet, and you will find plants in the common areas as well as in individual rooms. And our renovated Courtyard Garden delights everyone, from spring through fall.

Recreational programming includes music, creative arts, gardening, exercise, cooking, films, holiday parties, and visits by local artists. We take trips to ball games, concerts, shopping malls, museums, or just to get an ice cream on a hot summer’s day!
